REVIEW: Fuze Programmable Computer

Source code.

With computer programming now, finally, making its way onto the national curriculum, teachers and educators may find themselves stuck for what tech to best give their budding young coders. The Raspberry Pi, that fine British-made micro-computer, is at the heart of the UK's coding push, but getting it into a usable mode for kids and adults alike to master can be difficult. But not anymore, thanks to the Fuze.

REVIEW: Exogear Ecoxbt Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker

Splash!

Out and about and keen to take your tunes with you? If you love Bluetooth speakers because they let you rock out wherever you might be (without having to tolerate your phone's rubbish speaker) then you'll go nuts for this - especially if you use a white-water raft to get to work. That's because if you want a waterproof, impact resistant Bluetooth speaker that floats, you need the Exogear  Ecoxbt.

REVIEW: Aldi Fishing Range

Cast off.

The dreadnought of Aldi's Specialbuy deals seems not to be slowing as 2015 continues, and whereas only last week we tooled up to reviewtheir new workshop range, today we wrap up against the biting cold of January, fill our tackle boxes, and write 'Gone Fishing' on the office door. REVIEW: Hot Rox Hand Warmer

This thing Rox.

Cold? Wearing gloves to keep your hands warm is all well and good, but often you might find yourself working outside and in a situation where gloves are just not an option. But before you resign yourself to a day of awkwardly pulling your coat sleeves down to cover your slowly numbing digits, lay your hands (tee hee) on the Hot Rox Electronic Hand Warmer.

REVIEW: Leef iBridge Mobile Memory

Never a bridge too far.

Regular readers might already have noticed a slight bias to The Test Pit. You see, by sheer cosmic coincidence all the contributors to this mighty little website have Android phones, not iPhones. There are various reasons for that, but probably one of the biggest reoccurring gripes we all have with Apple's product is the lack of expandable storage. However, our collective opinion might have to change now that Leef have released their latest gorgeous gizmo, the iBridge.

REVIEW: Chipolo

Chip off the old block.

Keys, tablet, wallet; these are things that, when you’re in a hurry, seem to want to hide themselves about your home. Wouldn’t it be awesome to be able to open an app on your phone, tap a button, and then listen out for a ringing sound that gives up the location of your precious item. Now that is possible, and it’s all thanks to a tiny little gadget called Chipolo.

REVIEW: Aldi Workshop Range

It's tool time!

Following on from our pre-Christmas, down-hill treat of skiing gear from Aldi, we were happy to receive another package from the supermarket chain... and this time it just dripped with testosterone. That is because Aldi are now pushing a pretty extensive selection of tools and work clothing as part of their new Workshop range. So we let our beards grow long, belched, and set to some serious D.I.Y.

REVIEW: Flying Gadgets T40c & Revell Big One Next RC Helicopters

 Chopper wars!

Here at The Test Pit we're very used to get getting the occasional delivery of fun flying gadgets that come in all shapes and sizes. And so we decided to test the helicopters, one from Flying Gadgets and one from good ol' Revell, at the same time to see how they fared. It's chopper wars! Three, two, one... activate!

REVIEW: Touch screen gloves

Warm fingers, message sent.

We've all been there; you're at the bus stop, in the freezing cold, and you phone chirps. You pull it from your pocket to read the message, only to find that your gloved hands are useless on the touch screen. Damn you modern technology, with your need for conductive surfaces! If only there were a pair of gloves that you keep on all day in the cold and still be able to use your mobile or tablet. There is, several in fact, and we've tested two such pairs.

REVIEW: Monster Ncredible Ntunes Headphones

Ntertaining.

Still powering up our gadgets while on the go, we really loved the Monster Powercard that we reviewed a couple of months ago. Keen to check out other products from the gadget gurus, we were sent a pair of something Monster are world-renowned for; headphones. And so we plugged in, cranked up the volume, and popped on a pair of Monster Ncredible Ntunes Headphones.
