Keeping your car's tires inflated to the correct level is very important. Too high and you risk rupturing the tire itself, to low and you could end up severely damaging your wheel (as well as using more petrol). Finding out your tire pressure can often be a tricky affair, and that is why we're very happy to be giving away, thanks to our chums at Nextbase, a FOBO Tire Bluetooth Pressure Monitoring System.

The FOBO Tire kit consists of four small sensors which replace your valve caps on each of the car's wheels. Once screwed on, they constantly monitor the air pressure in each tire, comparing that to how much there should be in each. This information is then beamed via low-energy Bluetooth to a small onboard receiver, which in turn sends the data to your smartphone. That means you can see just how much pressure is in each tire, and then get alerts if there is suddenly a problem.

Obviously this means great peace of mind; you never have to worry about checking your tire pressure, as it is constantly being checked thanks to the FOBO. Also, if you have more than one car, additional sets of sensors can be fitted and then all monitored by the same phone. It also works as a theft deterrent, informing you if any of the wheels is being taken away from the car and the other sensors. They are fully waterproof (as you might expect), and feature a battery-life of up to two years. And yes, we think they're awesome.
