Less Paint, more create.
Paint has been the cornerstone programme of Microsoft's operating systems since the 80s, and it has changed very little in that time. However, according to a video unearthed by the Twitter account WalkingCat, Paint is set to get an update in a new version of Windows 10.

It isn't much of a surprise that Microsoft would gear it's basic image package more toward 3D and animation, especially as 3D printing and VR become increasingly commonplace. When these updates will roll out is anyone's guess, although Microsoft does have plans to show off some new tech at an event on 26th October, so hopefully the new and improved Paint will debut there also.
We'll keep 'em peeled.
