Time to escape!

If you've already started having tonnes of fun this summer, but are sad that so many fun (and wet) times were not captured forever, enter this competition. The Escape HD5 from Kitvision is a tough, rugged, cheeky little bugger that is designed to be used in just about any walk of life that you need to film. The camera itself captures video footage in 720p at 30fps, while the photo mode will snap images at 1.3mp. The USB rechargeable battery will keep the action going for up to 90 minutes, and it can accommodate a MicroSD card of up 32GB.

Most crucially for this time of year is the fact that the Escape HD5 comes complete with a host of accessories including a waterproof case. Wrap the cam up in this and you can take it in the pool, down the water slide, splashing into the sea, and deep into the action of that water fight you've been meaning to have with the students next door. Even while in the waterproof case all the controls are still accessible, meaning we could change from video to photo mode, set the timer, switch it on and off... everything in fact... even with soaking wet hands. Chances are your phone can't do that!
