FEATURE: Christmas Stocking Fillers 2021 #3

Counting down the days

As the big Christmas clock ticks ever down towards the big day, the number of shopping opportunities diminishes. That's why we're back with a host of random stuff to pique your gift-buying interest and to hopefully solve the age-old question of 'what should I get weird Uncle Kev?' Read on.

Juice Social 'Perfect Glow' Desktop Ring Light

Be your giftee a young, happening Influencer, or your gran who loves a Zoom chat, get them this. The Perfect Glow Ring Light from Juice Social has been built to offer a bright, clean light, perfect for any desktop-based online fun. Powered by USB, the light brightness and warmth can be adjusted, as well as the legs that can be set into a taller position. Other than good quality illumination, it comes with a phone clamp and flexible arm to set your mobile in the centre, making it a great option for streamers. Versatile and light, we heartily recommend this. It won't be shattering your bank account, either.

Mr Men My Complete Collection 48 Book Set

Here's an absolute classic. We all have a favourite Mr Men book, right? Well, thanks to Books2Door, you can give the gift of weird, slightly suspicious morality tales to a young loved one this Chrimbo, with this complete collection. All 48 of the original Mr Men books are included here, in the original smaller, square format. Coming in a lovely display box, we can't think of a single kid who wouldn't love this. Fun fact: Mr Clumsy looks like a dishevelled Hitler. Google it.

Hot Wheels Unleashed

For gaming fans, why not help them make Christmas morning in their house a noisy, scream-filled affair with this awesome game? Hot Wheels Unleashed in essentially the digital, immersive version of what we all did as kids - chuck Hot Wheels cars around our living room at exciting and, frankly, dangerous speeds. Hot Wheels Unleashed puts you in the driving seat of those tiny diecast cars as you race around tracks seemingly built by some kind of giant God (or you, in track builder mode). This is good old-fashioned car racing fun, and the game also has a tonne of tie-in options to physically buy the cars you drive in the game. For kids of all ages (especially those in their early 40s) this is awesome fun.

STM Myth 28L Backpack

No strangers to STM's bag offerings over the years, we're happy to say they're back with something truly great. Part of their new Myth range of backpacks, the 28L version offers versatile functionality with a style that really impressed us. As we're massive luggage whores here, we'd love nothing more than a new backpack for Christmas, so consider this. This sturdy, water-resisting bag can safely stow up to a 16inch laptop, features pass-through ports for an internal power pack to be installed, an array of (actually) useful pockets and sleeves, and comfortable, padded straps. We opted for the stand-out Windsor Wine colouring, but black, grey and blue is also available. Starting the new year with new bag is always a good idea, so check this one out.

Insta Wi HD Camera and Printer

This is a fun one, and something currently seeking backing on Indigogo. The Insta Wi is a small, kid-oriented camera and printer combo. You can snap a pic and instantly print it to the included roll of thermal paper... just for fun. Alternatively you can use it as a dedicated label printer, coming complete with adhesive labels. Essentially, this a versatile gadget for endless kinds of fun and play... and a useful home tool to boot. At time of writing the project was doing really well in terms of backers, so get in there now to a pre-order yours.
