Stomp is such a lovely word, isn't it? It's hard to say it without thinking of fun, especially when that fun involves launching rockets into the air. Now that the weather is finally improving, and the summer of '21 dawns, we've been outside with the kids testing the Stomp Rocket Stunt Plane Kit. Here's what we (they) thought.
Requiring no batteries or charging, the Stomp Rocket Stunt Plane Kit is totally kid powered. Stamp on the self-inflating airbag and launch one of three included rocket planes into the air. It can be set up in seconds and provide hours of fun whatever the weather.
The kit contains a launcher on a stable, folding tripod, the aforementioned airbag, plastic tubing and three foam planes. These stunt plans all feature different shaped wings to achieve differing types of flight. The evocatively named Looper, Glider, and Wildcat rockets all provide varied flight paths, while also being random enough to keep every launch fun and surprising.
The launcher can be angled from upright to almost level with the ground, so kids can further experiment to get interesting results. Which is what the Stomp Rocket Stunt Plane Kit is all about; getting kids interested in STEAM by having fun.
When we tested the kit with our hardy bunch of kiddos, we were impressed at how quickly they began to understand how the different planes would fly, and angle the launcher to give varying outcomes. Incidentally, the Looper plane fast became the firm favourite, as that had the tendency to loop over the kids and hit one of them in the back. So much hilarity.
