Get smart right here...
You might have heard us talk about smart homes quite a lot on this website. But aside from all the clever gizmos out there, with voice controls and AI brains, what a lot of people want to know is how they can start to turn their homes smart. That is why we're working with TP-Link to offer one lucky winner the chance to 'get smart' with a Smart Home Starter Kit.
This kit, which has been chosen by us at The Test Pit, contains two staples of the average smart home: a Smart Plug and a Smart bulb. TP-Link have very kindly offered up a HS100 Smart Plug and a LB100 Kasa Smart WiFi Bulb. Combined, these two gadgets will give you a head start in the smart home world, letting you control a powered device and a light with your phone (or voice, if you also have an Amazon Echo or Google Home).
Set up of both devices is as simple as plugging (or screwing) them in and following the instruction on the downloaded smartphone app. In no time at all, your home will be as smart as you are for entering this awesome competition.

To enter simply follow us on Twitter (@thetestpit) and then retweet any tweet we've posted about the competition. You can also Like us on Facebook (/thetestpit) and then share any competition post. Do either of these things before 6pm on 10th April 2018.
The competition will close at 6pm on 10th April 2018 and the winners will be notified soon after. UK entrants only please.
