'Like' playing games?
Since acquiring VR platform Oculus a couple of years ago, everyone has been wondering what Facebook's intention with gaming is. Now the answers are starting to come out as the company recently announced it's new PC-based gaming app, Gameroom.
Available for PC users only to download, Gameroom is essentially a gaming suite to rival Valve's Steam platform, with many stream-able online games already up and ready to play. However, unlike Steam, most of these games are limited to 200MB in size, meaning downloads are quick but gameplay will hardly ever rival the immersive detail of many of Valve's titles.
