Taking on the Chinese budget handsets.
Despite selling half a million units last year, you might not have heard of WileyFox. The London-based smartphone company did quite well with their first release, the Swift, but have recently launched a new budget device, the Swift 2, weighing in at just £159 for some quite impressive specs.
Made from milled aluminium, the Swift 2 comes in two versions, with a Plus model featuring slightly higher capabilities. Still, the base model features 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a 13MP camera. It runs on the Cyanogen operating system, and a pretty impressive octocore Qualcom Snapdragon 430 processor, so £159 could be spent on far worse things than this.
