Although announced last year, the Smart Boy from Hyperkin has been hotly anticipated and is now available for pre-order. The smartphone accessory, which is compatible with both iPhones and Android devices, clips onto your phone and essentially turns it into a Game Boy. Not only do you get tactile controls like the old Nintendo hand held console, but you can also plug in the original cartridges from the Game Boy and Game Boy Color.
Any children of the 80s and 90s will be especially excited by this concept, as it means you can play all those games you grew up wasting your youth on - the actual physical game in fact, if you still own the cartridges. We're pretty sure we all have a mouldy box of old Game Boy games in our parents' attics, so to be able to dust them off and play them on our phones is pretty exciting.
