Planning your Christmas party already? Big fans of Jam Audio here The Test Pit, we were happy to try out one of their latest pint-sized speakers. The Trance Mini is a self-contained disco that you can fit in your pocket. The speaker itself, which connects to your phone, tablet, or laptop via Bluetooth, features an array of LEDs embedded into the front panel. When the music starts to pump, the lights start to flash, dancing along to your tunes.

As well as boasting the light show, which will flash in 36 different patterns, the Jam Trance Mini can be charged via USB and will provide five hours of playback time. It can also act as a speaker phone while connected to your smartphone, allowing you to easily switch from the party to that all-important call from your mum about which direction your life is heading.
