REVIEW: EyeFi Mobi

 WiFi? Aye.

When buying a camera these days you might notice that many of them come complete with the ability to project your photos via their own WiFi network. A handy thing, especially if you want to get the shots off your DSLR and share them quickly via your smartphone. But what about those of us with older cameras that lack WiFi connectivity - how ever are we going to show our friends the picture we took of a fat man in a bathing suit on the beach? Easy, with the EyeFi Mobi Wireless SD card.

COMMENT: The Glassholes cometh

Google Glass comes to the UK

No longer will we in dear old Blighty be able to sit back and gawp in amazement at our colonial cousins as they fumble around with computers hanging from their noses. That is because Google is extending the coverage of their (seemingly unending) public beta test of Glass to Britain. Yes, that is right, now anyone in Britain can get a Google Glass and try it out, with their comments and suggestions being welcomed back at Google HQ.

REVIEW: Lindy CROMO IEM-75 Earphones

Small size, good price, great sound

Here cometh a fact: apparently a higher percentage of us have mobile phone contracts and upgrades that renew in the summer months. So, if like lots of other people, you’re currently scanning shops and online for deals on the latest handsets, we wish you all the best. But no matter how incredible your new smartphone will be, we’re guessing that the included headphones will be a large pile of plastic disappointment. Fortunately we’ve found a pair of affordable earbuds that will compliment that new phone, the Lindy CROMO IEM-75 Earphones.

REVIEW: PNY Dual USB Car Charger

You are charged

Hitting the road this summer? Of course you are, and no matter where you go you'll be sure to take your gizmos and gadgets along for the ride. Troubles is, when you're miles from nowhere and you desperately need to tweet a picture of a really ugly sheep you've spotted, the last thing you need is a flat phone battery. Fortunately PNY are here to help with their Dual USB Car Charger.

REVIEW: AcoustiPhase Mini Cannon Bluetooth Speaker

 Cannon ball

That wired-up, wall plugged sound system just won't cut it this summer. No, you need something portable to take with you out into the warm weather, the sunny skies and the people-clogged beaches. But if you prefer your speakers a little meatier than most bluetooth sound blasters, then we have the perfect thing for you; the AcoustiPhase Mini Cannon.

REVIEW: Norco Valence A2 Road Bike

Road warrior.

As the Tour de France is kicking off in good old Blighty this year,  we thought there was no more appropriate thing for this month's cycling review than a no-nonsense, balls to the saddle,  tarmac scorching road bike. Thanks to our mates at Evans Cycles we found the perfect beast in the Norco Valence A2.

FEATURE: At the beach with Helly Hansen

Surfs up

As the sun briefly tore through the seemingly endless rain clouds the other day, we decided to chance it and made for the beach. But paddling along the shore, eating copious amounts of Mr Whippy ice cream, and suspiciously eyeing up donkeys weren't our only reasons for travelling to the coast. No, we had a pretty sexy date set up with someone we've previously enjoyed a fling with. And so, as we avoid dive-bombing seagulls and wince as sand gets everywhere, we take solace in the fact that we're spending our time with Helly Hansen.

REVIEW: Llumio Night Light

Night night!

Continuing our new range of parenting gadget products, we're looking to the kiddies' bed times. If kids these days are anything like we were growing up, they hate having switch the light off at night time. After all (and this might just be relevant to our own childhoods) the dark is a pretty sinister thing - and don't even get us started on the monsters in the cupboard. Fortunately British company Llumio are fighting back with this feature-packed Night Light.

REVIEW: Star Wars Darth Vader Electronic Lightsaber

 Turn to the Dark Side

Growing up, each of the Test Pitters were mad-keen on two things: pretending to be Indiana Jones by whirling a bit of string around in the back garden, and also pretending to force-crush our family members' throats as Darth Vader. Although these days making a pretty convincing Dr Jones whip is easy, we still help in the lightsaber department. Thanks to Hasbro, we're now sorted with the Darth Vader Electronic Lightsaber.

FEATURE: The Great Outdoors #3

Walk this way

Continuing our series of summer outdoor apparel reviews, we've turned some much-deserved attention to our feet. One thing we've noticed while out in the countryside walking, is that we really use our feet quite a lot; for each step we take, in fact. And so we've tested some mighty fine things to keep you plates of meat in tip-top condition during your summer adventures.

REVIEW: Leef Bridge 3.0

Building bridges

Look at it this way; this review was written on a tablet and the chances are you are reading it either on a tablet yourself or on your smartphone. Most of these devices don't carry a full-sized USB port in them, and instead rely upon good old microUSB. So why are all of our flash drives compatible only with full-sized USB? That is a problem that the Leef Bridge 3.0 solves.
